about dodgy batteries, boeing plans more flights of its 787 dreamliner this week. the company condutd what it described as an uneventful two-hour flight on wednesday. boeing says the data collected was part of the investigation into the battery related events that led to the grounding globally of the 787 last month. boeing stock res nevertheless down 1.49% in frankfurt. i think uneventful of any flight of any sort. >> that's the kind of description you want. apple hoping for a big event with its latest device. it's reportedly working on a watch like device that has the features like a smartphone. the wearable device is in the experimental phase. voters are concerned about right now. >> boeing is planning to start test flights as soon for the 787 dream liners. the company says that this will allow it to look at the in-flight performance of their planes and batteries. the faa grounded the dream liner fleet last month because of issues with this lithium ion battery malfunctions. boeing says it is working round-the-clock to fix the problem so that their planes can get back in the air. >> the ntsb is looking at expanded a small recall of pontiac and gmc 6 midsize cars so it includes up to 550,000 vehicles. general motors recall about 8000 cars in 2009 because the bright lights and cruise control did not work properly. the recall affected only cars made in january of 2005. now the federal agency says it is studying whether cars from 2005 through 2009 models years should also be added to the recall. no crashes or injuries have been reported from the problem. >> we will be right back. with its findings about boeing's battery trouble aboard its dreamliner. safety investigators are linking the fire to a short-circuit in a lithium ion battery. the battery caught fire aboard a boeing 787 parked in boston. it's still not clear what sparked the flame, and figuring out could take weeks. investigators are checking into the charge going into the battery as well as the design of the battery. internal emails may expose more about jp morgan's bad home loans. dexia, a belgian-french bank and an investor in jp morgan securities, filed the lawsuit accusing the bank of hiding or adjusting reviews of bad mortgage deals. internal correspondence showed that jp morgan bundled the mortgages into securities and made them appear healthier when the industry was turning out billions of dollars in bad loans ahead of the housing crisis. the case may be used in the federal housing finance agency's lawsuit against banks accused of selling questionable mortgages. the irs is aggressively going after identity theives. con artists steal identities in order to get tens of thousands of dollars in tax r

does not foresee regulatory obstacles for amr and u.s. airways to merge. boeing is giving its customers a heads-up that dreamliner arrivals will likely be delayed. manufacturing on the troubled aircrafts will continue, but boeing has said deliveries that were expected in the near future are either delayed or at risk of being delayed. some carriers such as norwegian air are giving customers the option of changing flights to later dates. the dreamliner has been grounded since january 16th. the faa is still investigating the aircraft's battery issues. your tax refund may be delayed, and the heming and hawing by lawmakers in washington over the fiscal cliff is blamed. according to reports, the irs had to wait out the standoff to deterime the exact policy and print the appropriate forms. the delay in getting americans their refund tax money could also take longer to give the economy a boost. the average refund is around $3,000. traders are bracing for news out of europe this week. eurozone finance ministers meet today in brussels, and later this week g-20 finance ministers meet in moscow. ju
